We are only two sleeps away from the concluding part of Chioma Otisi and Noble Igwe’s wedding. While I’m sure that some invites are yet to be handed out to guests, I also know that some people who have already received theirs have still not decided what to wear on the D-day.
If you fall in either or both categories, it’s okay. With the wedding theme being ‘Fedoras and Fascinators'(which really, in my opinion is Royal Ascot), you might be having issues deciding which outfit will make you stand out, especially because it’s not the usual aso-ebi.
First of all, it’s not your wedding, so the only people who should normally stand out are the bride and groom, but I also know times are abnormal and weddings create the perfect atmosphere for ‘single pringles’ to hook-up. Therefore, I’ve compiled a number of outfit ideas which should help you turn
the right heads at the wedding. Can I get an Amen?!
A dress or even a jumpsuit would go with a fascinator. Don’t attempt to wear a statement dress/jumpsuit and a dramatic dress together. Choose a struggle. If your dress/jumpsuit is dramatic, let your fascinator be simple and vice-versa.
Check @urezkulture on Instagram for some really nice fascinators like this one below.
With fedoras, men can get away with many things. Floral shirts, suspenders, sneakers, oxford shoes, a simple waist coat, or even agbada.
After all these, you can’t say I didn’t do anything for you!
