The New York International Bridal Fashion Week started on Saturday and ended yesterday. It is the first bridal fashion trade show in New York City, and encompassed a large array of Bridal fashion exhibitors including Mother of the Bride, Flower Girl, Bridesmaid and Bridal gowns. Some of the gowns exhibited are just exquisite, while some others did not meet the mark.
Some of the fashion designers who attended the Fashion week include Naeem Khan, Hayley Paige, Rita Vinieris, Badgley Mischka, Rosa Clara and a host of others.
There were a lot of gowns to choose from, but I had to narrow it down to those ones that stood out for me…in both good and bad ways.
I love that this gown has pockets, is very detailed and exquisite. This is one of my best wedding gowns for the week, although I would have preferred if it were white. Yes, I am traditional like that.
Bijou Gown by Hayley Paige
I love how daring this gown is. I cannot wear the gown, for obvious reasons, but I believe Hayley Paige did a nice job with this gown.
Bridesmaid Gowns by Hayley Paige
Seeing as black is my favourite colour, I hope my bridesmaids won’t mind if I put them in a black outfit.
Decklyn Gown by Hayley Paige
The Decklyn gown is a very simple but busy gown. I am not exactly a fan of plain clothes but I think the top and bottom of the gown made for a great pairing.
Details!!! I love how the designer paid attention to all the details on this gown. I hear it was hand sewn, which makes it even more precious.
Wedding night Robe and Shorts by Grace Loves Lace
Bridal shower, Honeymoon…the matching robe and shorts come in handy when you are in that seductive mood.
Hair Accessory by Enchanted Atelier by Liv Hart
Simple, Elegant and effective. I am glad the Liv Hart did not go with white. This makes it even classier.
House of Herrera
I was torn about this outfit because I love the veil, but the outfit does not cut it for me.
Ines Di Santo
This is the perfect gown for slim ladies who can show off their figure, and look glam while doing it.
I feel like this accessory is a bit too much…and removes from the gown.
I felt like this gown was unique but, as much as I love black I am sure I would not rock this gown on my wedding day. I don’t think it even cuts it as my third outfit.
This was most probably my favourite of the bunch. Well, the upper half. I love the intricate designs and the fact that it is covered…and revealing at the same time.
Which of these dresses would you rock?
