Wema Bank Nigeria and organizers of the Nigerian Student Fashion And Design Week (NSFDW) have officially sealed a deal for the financial institution to be one of the leading sponsors of this year’s edition of the event.
Mrs Odili Onome, Head of Brand, Marketing Communications at Wema Bank Plc which is Nigeria’s longest surviving indigenous commercial bank, said the bank is passionate about empowering the creative youths in the country, and through which other platform than the Nigerian Student Fashion And Design Week provides the right avenue for the bank to support young entrepreneurs in Nigeria’s rapidly evolving fashion industry.
The Bank will also reward the most creative designer at this year’s Nigerian Student Fashion And Design Week with startup funds and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises(SMEs) packages for other participants.
The year’s event is scheduled for the 12th and 13th of August at the University of Lagos’ Indoor Sports Hall. Each day’s show begins by 4pm with red carpet by 3pm. 30 designers are expected to showcase their pieces to an audience of over 2000.
Tickets are on sale at N500 (students), N1000 (regular) and N5000(VIP), they will also be available at the venue.
