Lupita is totally embracing her African roots and we can’t help but love her for it. The Oscar winning actress of the 12 Years A Slave fame, arrived at the opening of the National Museum of African American History & Culture wearing a piece from Nigerian label Maki Oh.
She chose a beautifully printed adire piece, a signature fabric of the brand, with midrib cut outs and elongated bell sleeves, from the Fall 2017 collection, dubbed the Adire Camouflage Dress.
Lupita who seems to be taken with head gears and turbans recently, finished off this look with a printed turban characteristically, and blue court shoes to boot.
For beauty, the Kenyan American actress went with soft plum lips and barely there makeup.
