Diary Of An Isale Eko – Saturday Night Outfit

I just really want to start by thanking everyone for the love and feedback I get from my blog. A lot of times I just want to do the post and I get carried away that i don’t show enough appreciation to you guys, because without you guys there would be no ‘derinfromisaleeko’. So thank you all so much it never goes unnoticed .

My blog is going to be two years old in a few weeks, I am so excited as to how far I have come, it honestly hasn’t been easy, joggling blogging (especially getting pictures taken), some times I am honestly just not in the mood to shoot and everything is harder in Lagos, then having to do that with work and keeping a social life and a thousand other things going on, trust me it really isn’t easy, but so far so good, I get insulted by my friends that I don’t take my blog as seriously as I should but I am trying to do better with each passing day.

Today I am just talking about this outfit I wore out partying with friends last week. I have styled the shorts previously for two different posts but never wore it out so I decided to wear it out. See pictures of how I styled it earlier.

If you know me you know short things aren’t my thing but you know ‘this is Derin trying new things’ , LOL. For some weird reason I wasn’t as uncomfortable as I thought I would have been that night.

The shorts are linen and off white, while the bralette is white and lacey, of course I wasn’t going to be out in just that so I threw on a blazer and I was ready to go. I wore my colorful sandals which are extremely comfortable but not as high as I like my heels but they worked perfectly especially because I knew I was going to be on my feet dancing most of the night.

So which look do you guys prefer out of all three ways this linen shorts has been styled?
