Zendaya Continues Her Reign As The Method Dressing Queen With Stunning Spider-Man Press Tour Looks

In the fashion world, Zendaya being on a press tour is akin to Christmas morning every day because she and her stylist, Law Roach, are the gift that keeps on giving. Together, they not only cemented Zendaya as a fashion icon before she even hit 25 but also established her as the queen of method-dressing. For Zendaya and Law, fashion is a language, and every look communicates something about whatever film she’s promoting or event she’s attending. Over the years, we’ve seen her commitment to method-dressing evolve from her simple referential looks during one of her earliest projects, The Greatest Showman, to wearing an iconic, archival Mugler robot suit during the Dune: Part Two press tour.

This year, fashion fans are in for a treat as Zendaya has not just one or two projects but four new movies being released in 2026. She had more than a few notable fashion moments during her press tour for The Drama earlier this year before turning her attention to Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and there is no doubt that her looks for this press tour are some of the best she’s served for this franchise as she went above and beyond with references.

The press tour kicked off in Madrid, Spain, with Zendaya in a gorgeous Christian Cowan black strapless dress from the Fall 2026 collection. Made with vintage lace and silk from the 1940’s, the sleeveless gown also referenced a 40s silhouette while paying homage to Spain. The intricate lace details were the obvious reference to Spider-Man, and the asymmetrical silk hem and fringe brought some drama to the look. Her jewellery came from Rolex and Stéfère, both of which she favoured throughout the tour.

Next in Madrid, she and Law stuck to Spanish designers, and she hit the carpet in a bold red, high neck midi dress by designer Ernesto Naranjo from their Fall 2026 collection. The dress highlighted her figure in the right places with cutouts at the waist and back. The flowy organza material that overlaid the dress and wrapped around her entire body added volume and texture, while the colour was an obvious nod to the titular character’s costume.

The press tour then took her to Amsterdam, where she switched up the vibe with a two piece from Louis Vuitton by Nicolas Ghesquière. The look featured a black, broad shouldered tailcoat with white details that resembled the lines on the Spider-Man suit and the webs he shoots, and a pair of Spider-Man red shorts.

For her second look in Amsterdam, she wore a look from the McQueen Fall 2026 collection. She wore a high-low opera coat made of textured Lurex tweed with oversized cuffs. Beneath it, she wore a sheer georgette dress with lace floral appliqués in white, and jewellery from Stéfère. The dark makeup added a sultry touch that perfectly complemented the outfit.

Berlin, Germany was the next stop on the press tour and, once again, Zendaya and Law gave us something fresh. During this fan event, she wore a red jersey half tucked into a plaid midi skirt, both from Coach Fall ‘26. The look was preppy and perhaps not only references Spider-Man with the colours, but fans are also theorizing that the jersey number 39 may have a deeper meaning.

Next in Berlin, Zendaya absolutely stunned in a Nicolas Ghesquière for Louis Vuitton leather two-piece that had the internet on its knees. The custom leather outfit featured a cropped, waistcoat style top over a floor length maxi skirt with a train to boot. This was the point when people started questioning why Zendaya and Law had chosen to go with so much black for this press tour. The most prevalent fan theories suggest that her looks are either hinting at a major death in the movie (perhaps even her own character’s) or that Venom will be making an appearance.

One of the most notable looks of the entire press tour came at her next stop in Rome, where she donned a two piece from Versace’s Fall 1997 collection. Completely covered in Swarovski crystals, this look channeled vintage Spider-man with the red and blue colour blocking and white heels, with minimal jewellery that ensured that nothing distracted from the outfit.

Once again diving into the archives for Rome, Zendaya’s next look was another masterclass in method-dressing. This time the look came from Giorgio Armani’s Spring 1990 collection. The dress featured a gauzy slip beneath a sheer dress draped in cobwebs. The internet was quick to recall another head-to-toe cobweb look Zendaya had donned during the 2021 press tour for Spider-Man: No Way Home, and many fans loved how the dresses had similar themes but different executions, showing her and Law’s versatility. Beyond the obvious spiderweb tie-in, the archival design was featured in The Met’s 2008 ‘Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy’ exhibition—making it all the more fitting for the occasion.

Zendaya went casual and flirty in Paris and proved why she is the queen of fashion. Who else could make a $35 T-shirt look this chic? The black vintage Marvel tee featured a red Spider-Man silhouette, and she completed the look with her signature white Louboutin heels and simple jewellery.

Rounding off the press tour in London, Zendaya served celestial glam in a Spring 1997 John Galliano dress. The blue slip dress was already stunning with its ethereal cloud designs, but the showstopper was the back, which featured a delicate chain spiderweb with astrological charms hanging off it.

We can’t wait to see what Zendaya and Law cook up for her upcoming press tour for The Odyssey!
