Hi Guys! Guess who is excited to be a part of #TeamSV? Yup, that’s me!!!! I am Wumi Oguntuase, Style Blogger, an employee in the automobile industry and this is my first post on StyleVitae!!!

My mum always says that if you cannot look your best to church then what are you doing? I totally agree and that is why I would be bringing you simple, easy, (sometimes unconventional) and chic Sunday outfit inspiration from now on.
If you are with me say ‘Ayeee’!
For this post, my outfit is based primarily on neutrals and if there is anything that can make your melanin pop it is definitely neutrals; the browns & nude colours especially.

This midi skirt is my go-to piece whenever I need an item to dress me up because I am lazy when it comes picking to outfits so I just pair it with other minimal pieces. The skirt is a classic on its own, so I rarely let any other piece steal its show.

This time, I picked a tan colored blouse with red wavy stripes and my super comfy tan sandals (I think they are starting to beg for mercy sef *covers face). Although, I am just discovering my love for fascinators and hats in general (always been more of a scarf & gele girl for church), this cream colored fascinator is one I am loving as it adds a lacy feel to the whole outfit.

It also pretty much upgraded the outfit from normal casual to church dressy (I am not even sure there is a phrase like that but hey, nobody can sue me right?) Anyway, I guess you would be seeing more of them in subsequent posts.

This black vintage bag has been one of my favorite things since I found it in my mum’s wardrobe. I kind of feel like if I add a pair of gloves and maybe socks, I would end up looking very ‘vintagy’ whatever that is.

After church, you can remove the fascinator and have the perfect lunch date outfit or a general hangout, whichever you would be attending.
