Healthy Food Recipes #01: Club Sandwich

Drum rolls please…. Yes, today we’d be starting off on our “Healthy Food Recipes” series, and the recipe we’ll be focusing on today is the “Club Sandwich”. Hmmmnn, sounds foreign yeah, but it would surprise you that a lot of us have this often without even realizing it. Let’s try to explain what a healthy food is shall we; a “healthy food, is any food that gives you the nutrients, you need to improve or maintain your health, feel good, and have energy”. While considering our healthy meals we should also take this into account, in order of our eating daily, it should be in this format; Heavy breakfast, In-between lunch, and a Light dinner. A good, healthy recipe helps you maintain your “Body Max Index” overall.These are the necessary ingredients needed to make a Club Sandwich for one person: (Please note that you are open to all other combo’s/mixtures of ingredients)

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 1 hardboiled egg
  • 1 fresh looking tomato
  • 1 medium carrot
  • A little slice of cabbage
  • 2/3 pieces of Sardine
  • 1 tbsp of butter
  • 2/3 tbsp of Mayonnaise

Now To Business

  • Wash all vegetables to be used properly
  • Scrape the carrot backs, and remove tomato seeds
  • Grate carrot and cabbage, like in use for coleslaw
  • Cut tomato and hardboiled eggs into tiny pieces
  • Put listed tomato, eggs and carrots in a boil, while you add mayonnaise to this and mix thoroughly
  • Mix the sardine properly with butter, in another bowl
  • Cut off brown edges from the slices of bread with bread knife
  • Take a slice of bread, and use a knife to spread the mixture of butter and sardine on it, while using a second slice of bread to cover
  • Take a different slice of bread, carefully apply the mixture of carrots, tomato, cabbage and mayonnaise to this, cover with a second slice
  • Feel free to mount and combine mixtures, and also to cut into whatever size or shape however you desireclub sandwich
