Hey people! How did your week go? Mine was okay, nothing spectacular happened except that I noticed that Gucci made an appearance on the African scene.
By that, I mean that I saw quite a number of celebrities and fashionistas wearing Gucci pieces, although unlike the title says, some were pictured outside Africa. But hey, Africans are Africans regardless of location, right?
First was blogger, Temi Otedola, then Mavin First Lady, Tiwa Savage, followed by Media Personality, Toke Makinwa, Polo Nigeria Underboss, Jennifer Obayuwana, Ghanaian actress, Jackie Appiah, South African Brand and Digital Influencer, Kefilwe Mabote and finally South African Hip hop artiste, Rikhado Makhado aka King Kontini!
Temi posted a picture on her Instagram page in which she was wearing a mustard Gucci Cady Boxy Jacket ($1604), green leather culottes, orange mules and a Gucci Broadway Metallic Leather Shoulder Bag ($1024).
Tiwa Savage recently wore a pair of ripped denim, black tank and a pair of Gucci Princetown mules. She completed the look with yet another piece from Gucci, the Sylvie Embroidered Leather Top Handle Bag.
Toke Makinwa wore these skinny jeans, a kimono over a camisole and a pair of Gucci Marmont Fringe Suede Mules. To complete the look, she carried a Gucci Dionysus GG Supreme Embroidered bag.
The Ghanaian star actress wore a white shirt dress and a pair of Gucci Ace Embroidered Low top Sneakers.
The South African rapper attended Paris Men’s Fashion Week in looking rad in Gucci Union Jack Horsebit Leather Loafers and a Gucci Duffle bag.
His socks look like Gucci’s $95 Stretch Cotton Socks with Web.
It almost looks like Gucci pieces cannot be worn one-at-a-time!
Like all the others already mentioned, Jennifer had two Gucci pieces on – the Gucci Lesley Zebra Print/Goat Hair Trimmed Leather Pumps and a hibiscus red Gucci Dionysus Top Handle Leather Bag.
Unlike the others, Kefilwe rocked a single Gucci piece (that’s as far as my eyes saw), the Dionysus GG Supreme Shoulder Bag.
