Tajé’s Tips – Quick & Easy Healthy Guacamole Recipe


Hey Fitfam! Today’s ‘tip’ is a little different. I’m showing you how to make a healthy Guacomole side, quick and easy! Go for guacamole as a source of healthy fat and vitamin E. It is rich in fiber, potassium and other essential nutrients which can help keep you healthy and prevent certain illnesses when included in a healthy diet.

It’s delicious and it has heart, immune system and digestive benefits; what more could you want form a side dish!?

Here’s what you need – avocados, onions, pepper, garlic, a lemon, sea salt and olive oil.

1. Cut avocados in half and scoop the flesh out into a bowl.

2. Add the chopped up ingredients (onion, pepper, garlic), smidge of sea salt, a teaspoon of olive oil and squeeze in a little lemon juice.

3. Mash up together.

4. Serve up nicely with crackers or any healthy side of choice.

That’s it! Four easy steps. (5 including chopping up the ingredients just finely enough for a crunch).

You can have your guacamole with different things – eggs, veggies, prams with are good for getting in your Omega 3 fatty acids, beet or other veggie chips, and devilled eggs (replace the boiled egg yolk with the guacamole).

To store your gauc, put a plastic wrap over your bowl close enough to touch the top of your guac. Don’t have plastic wrap? Add water to the top.
