Last night the New york fashion week kicked off and what better way to start than Tom Ford, right?
Tom Ford whose collections are always one to look forward to especially for the modern, independent and stylish woman did not disappoint and drew in the expected crowd of Kim Kardashian in front row and all the top models on the catwalk.
His spring 2018 ready-to-wear collection was highlighted by exaggerated shoulders, fuscia color, shimmery sequence and bare legs. He also reminded us of the fact that the 90s aren’t going anywhere with the high cut body suits with denim baggy pants and bright parka’s.
There was also a contrasting mix of nude toned colors and pastel with fuscia and sequence.
The mixes were surprising; one would never have thought a combo of really bright yellow and metallica would look so good, the nude tones also with sequined detail, the denim two pieces and baggy pants, the padded exaggerated shoulders, clingy full dresses which look a whole lot like the red House of CB Fifi tulle dress Beyonce wore weeks ago and the monochrome mixes.
He also got model waiters for the after party, all in all we could say that NYFW got off to a great start.
